This Mk1 Audi TT Quattro started life as a factory APX-powered 225hp model and has been transformed into a serious street build while retaining the character that made the original TT such an icon.
The engine features a large-port AEB cylinder head with upgraded Supertech valvetrain components, forged connecting rods, ARP hardware and supporting modifications designed to handle high boost and extended RPM operation (Rated for 800hp). Forced induction comes from a Precision 6262 turbocharger mounted on a custom tubular manifold, paired with a large front-mount intercooler and ECU Master Black engine management.
The goal was simple: create a fast, high-revving 1.8T capable of producing significant power while maintaining reliability and drivability. Running on 98ron pump fuel and later methanol injection 880cc producing over 600 to the crank, the setup delivers a broad powerband and strong top-end performance while retaining the factory 1.8T architecture.
